Marie Cassidy

Marie Cassidy, 92, of Lampasas died May 9, 2008, at Regal Nursing & Rehab.

Funeral services were May 11 at Sneed Funeral Chapel with Tom Phillips officiating. Burial was at Townsen Cemetery.

Mrs. Cassidy was born Sept. 5, 1915, in Lampasas County, the daughter of Ross O. and Mary Viola Lindsey Greer.

She married William Patrick Cassidy in 1945 in Florida.

Mrs. Cassidy was a beautician for many years, retiring in 1981. She was a member of Berean Christadelphian Church.

Survivors include a son, Harry Cassidy, and wife, Cindy, of Magnolia; four sisters, Jewel Bell, Ruby Wolfe and Linnie Hennig, all of Lampasas, and Wynona Peterson of Elgin; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; by a son, Welton Taylor; and a brother, R.O. Greer.
