Betty Schwierjohn

Funeral services are May 10, 2008, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lampasas for Betty Schwierjohn, 69, of Lampasas. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Schwierjohn died May 4 in a Lampasas hospital.

She was born Aug. 20, 1938, to John and Mildred Adams Criswell in Dwight, Kan.

Mrs. Schwierjohn was employed for more than 20 years as a factory worker for Windsor Foods in Lampasas.

She enjoyed cooking, mowing the lawn and taking care of her yard.

Survivors include a son, Darryl Schwierjohn, and wife, Terri, of Taylor; two daughters, Patty Swaney, of Lampasas, and Diana Mravik, and husband, Delbert, of Wisconsin; one brother, Dale Criswell, and wife, Leora, of California; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Schwierjohn; by two sons, Kenneth and Steven; and by a brother, Jerry Criswell.

Family visitation is May 9 from 6-8 p.m. at Briggs-Gamel-Wilcox Funeral Home in Lampasas.
