Mona "Mimmie" Lorene Wallace Poole, 98, of Louisville, Ky., died May 2, 2008, at Treyton Oaks Tower.

A private graveside service will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas at a later date.

Mrs. Poole was born in Marble Falls to Oscar Lee and Ada Lee Roper Wallace.

She was a longtime resident of Lampasas where she was a member of First Baptist Church of Lampasas. She retired from Lampasas Federal Savings & Loan.

Survivors include granddaughters, Gina Deerr and Sherrie Ryan, and husband, Ivan; and greatgrandchildren, Caleb and Tyler Deer and Casey and Colby Ryan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Townsend Poole; by a daughter, Lynette Poole Snider; and a son-in-law, Dr. Thomas Norton Snider.

The family requested memorials be made to Treyton Oaks Employee Christmas Fund, 211 W. Oak St., Louisville, KY 40203.
