Contrasting priorities of political parties

Recently, the Dispatch Record had an article about the resolutions of the Democrat and Republican parties at their county conventions. What an astonishing contrast between those who hate America and those who don't.

The Democrats favor a socialized medical-care system that has failed everywhere it has been tried. Canadians flock to this country for health care denied them under socialist systems that Democrats support.

Democrats are staunch supporters of any and all abortions. Republicans believe babies shouldn't be murdered. Isn't it interesting that all the Democrats who favor infanticide are already here? If their mothers shared their beliefs, they wouldn't be.

Democrats oppose any and all efforts to secure our borders. Why should our country be destroyed by illegal foreign invaders? Mexico does not allow illegal immigration and severely punishes illegal immigrants. Yet it opposes our efforts to do the same with the support of the Democrat Party. Why is that? These illegal immigrants have caused hospital emergency rooms to close; they have adversely impacted our school system; they are filling our prisons.

They support abolishing the death penalty. They have never met a criminal they didn't like.

The Republicans believe repressive gun laws should be repealed. Democrats believe nobody should own a gun. If their view prevailed, only criminals would have guns, and you would be helpless victims.

Republicans oppose excessive taxation and bloated government. The Democrats have gone on record calling for a state income tax. Do you think your tax burden is too small? Should we have more and more taxes? The Democrats think so.

The Democrats believe in special rights for homosexuals. They want to mandate approval for same-sex marriages and make homosexuals a protected minority with special rights not granted to ordinary citizens.

This year, I attended the Democrat precinct caucus for reasons of my own. Their resolutions were decided prior to the caucus. The only issue they discussed was homosexual rights. I was the only one there who opposed special rights for homosexuals. I observed some people who profess to be Christians adamantly supportive of homosexual rights.

When I was raised, all our family were Democrats. Now, none of us is, due to their hatred of America and our Bill of Rights. Especially in the past 20 years it has become clear to me a vote for a Democrat is a vote for treason.

The Democrat Party should be listed with the Justice Department as a subversive organization. Just look at what they say.
