Mr. Gosse

Private graveside services for Allen Ernest Gosse Sr., 64, of Lampasas were May 5, 2008, at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.

Mr. Gosse died May 1 in a Lampasas nursing home.

He was born March 1, 1944, in Waltham, Mass., to Norman and Ruth Dunnet Gosse.

After high school, Mr. Gosse enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. He also worked for and retired from GCA Corp. in Burlington, Mass.

Survivors include a son, Allen Ernest Gosse Jr., of Copperas Cove; and a daughter, Wendy L. Gosse, of Massachusetts.
