Correction

An error was made in Dave Hamilton's letter to the editor ("More concerned than ever," April 29) about the cost to issue tax notes for enlarging the Lampasas County Office Building.

The correct data should have read: "The balance after seven years, if the note is not refinanced, is a little over $3 million," very similar to the remaining balance on a 20-year amortization schedule.

The Dispatch Record regrets the error.
