      The report from the April 23 sale at Lampasas Cattle Auction is as follows. Cattle and calves: Estimated receipts 440 compared to 399 last week and 511 last year. Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers $3-$5 higher; slaughter cows and bulls steady.
