Local law enforcement officials note recent arrests

The following arrests were reported by law enforcement officials.

April 20

-- Charles Chester Cockrell Jr., 47, of Lometa for driving while intoxicated and no insurance. He made bond the same day.

-- Brent Justin Herring, 27, of Lampasas for driving while intoxicated. He bonded out the same day.

-- Colin Mitchell Armstrong Jr., 19, of Copperas Cove for possession of marijuana under two ounces. He bonded out Monday.

-- Brandon James Mitchell, 20, of Dyess Air Force Base for possession of marijuana under two ounces. He made bond Monday.

-- Rodney Louis Garrott II, 19, of Fort Sam Houston for possession of marijuana under two ounces. He posted bond Monday.

-- Brian Christopher Jones, 18, of Copperas Cove for possession of marijuana under two ounces. He made bond Monday.

-- Sunne Kellene Wilkinson, 42, of Kempner for possession of a controlled substance under 28 grams. She posted bond Monday.

-- Timothy Wray Achorn, 43, of Bow, N.H., for driving while intoxicated and possession of marijuana under two ounces in a drugfree zone. He bonded out Monday.

April 19

-- Christopher John Young 30, of Copperas Cove for manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance over four grams and under 200 grams. He made bond Wednesday.

-- Roberto Cruz, 18, of Houston for possession of marijuana under two ounces. He was released after making bond the same day.

-- Ricky Wayne Pickard, 48, of Lampasas for driving while intoxicated. He made bond the same day.

-- Abraham Gibson Sanchez, 30, of Lampasas for driving while intoxicated. He posted bond Sunday.

-- Yichen Zhang, 18, of Allen for possession of marijuana under two ounces. He bonded out the same day.

April 18

-- Justin Thomas Levin, 21, of Killeen for possession of marijuana under two ounces. He made bond Saturday.

-- Michael Robert Betz, 19, of San Antonio for possession of marijuana under two ounces. He bonded out Saturday.

April 16

-- Michael Nathan Wiley, 18, of Lometa for terroristic threat. He remained in jail Thursday.

-- Michael Joe Pabst, 54, of Lampasas for possession of a controlled substance under 28 grams, no driver's license, no liability insurance, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to appear for no driver's license, fictitious/counterfeit inspection and wrong inspection insignia. He was released April 17 after posting bond.

April 15

-- Christopher Gerd Herring, 20, of Lampasas for aggravated assault date/family/house with a weapon. He bonded out April 16.

-- Austin Stanley Gallagher, 17, of Copperas Cove for possession of marijuana under two ounces, possession of drug paraphernalia, no driver's license, no insurance and expired registration. He posted bond April 16.

April 14

-- Derek Dean Keele, 40, of Santa Monica, Calif., for evading arrest in a vehicle and evading arrest/ detention on foot. He was released after he made bond April 15.

-- Marie Angelique Salazar, 32, of Bastrop on a Lampasas Municipal Court warrant for criminal mischief over $1,500 and under $20,000, possession of a controlled substance over one gram and under four grams, and possession of a controlled substance under 28 grams. She was in jail as of press time Thursday morning.

April 13

-- Eric Randall Osmon, 26, of Copperas Cove for possession of marijuana under two ounces. He made bond April 14.

-- Devon Matthew Murray, 18, of Kempner for driving under the influence by a minor. He bonded out the same day.

April 12 -- Joseph Garland Arnold, 23, of Lampasas for possession of marijuana under two ounces and disorderly conduct. He made bond April 13.

April 11

-- Phillip Eugene McMillian, 66, of Bend for driving while intoxicated. Bond was made April 12.

April 9

-- Rudolpho Garza Llanas, 24, of Kempner for driving while intoxicated with a child passenger and a parole violation warrant. He was still in jail Thursday morning.
