AMVETS blood drive

A Lampasas community blood drive is set May 5 from 12:30-6:30 p.m. at AMVETS Post 80.

As part of the American Red Cross humanitarian mission, the organization provides more than 14 million blood products to 3,000 hospitals across the country.

Of the eligible blood donor population, very few people give blood, and the Red Cross relies on its committed volunteer donors to ensure a good supply.
