Honor Banquet to salute Lampasas High students

The annual Lampasas High School Honor Awards Banquet will be Monday at 7 p.m. at Bozarth- Fowler Gym.

The event is sponsored by the PTSO and National Honor Society.

This year's theme is "Discover the Treasure of Success."

The banquet honors students who have earned an average of 90 or above for each of the previous two semesters.

Students whose combined twosemester average ranks in the top 10 percent of their class will receive pins.

Honor blankets will be awarded to seniors whose cumulative average after seven semesters ranks them in the top 10 percent of their class.

Speaker will be Mayor Judy Hetherly.

They represent the top five students from each of the two eighth-grade teams at Lampasas Middle School.

National Honor Society sponsors are Cherie Leavell and Kay Richardson.
