Mrs. Lee

Gloria Beth (Gobe) Gatliff Lee, 66, of Brazoria died April 14, 2008, at Cornerstone Hospital in Houston. Funeral services were April 17 at Howell-Doran Funeral Home in San Saba, with the Rev. Richard Vadeventer officiating and the Rev. Alan Berrio assisting.

Interment followed at Hillcrest Cemetery.

Mrs. Lee was born July 14, 1941, in San Saba, the daughter of Clifton Edward and Gertie Gibson Gatliff.

She attended the Assembly of God church.

Survivors include her mother of San Saba; two daughters, Sammy Trucellia Bailey of Lampasas and Rebecca "Beckie" Ann Neville and husband Troy of Brazoria; five grandchildren, Tiffany Ann Ellis and husband Bryan, and Misty Lynn Wakeman and husband Jason, all of Lampasas, and Bethanie Leighan Cox, Troy Walker Neville Jr. and Cory James Neville, all of Brazoria; and four great-grandchildren, Daelyn Avril Ellis, Harley Nicole Wakeman, Daecee Aimery and Bryton Dwayne Ellis, all of Lampasas.

Other survivors are seven sisters, Dorothy Mae Duncan of San Saba, Mary Frances Riser and husband Wayne of San Saba, Vinna Lea Bailey and husband Charles of Llano, Linda Joyce Russell of Leander, Oneta Bernice Hoskins and husband Roland "Ro-Ro" of Kingsland, Brenda Nell Schneider of Llano, and Emma Lena Havins and husband Troy of Houston; plus numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by her father and three brothers, Clifton David Gatliff, Clayton Edward Gatliff and Bobbie Doyle Gatliff.

The family requested memorials be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Lampasas.

Howell-Doran Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
