Kempner pet shot clinic deemed successful

Kempner Volunteer Fire Dept. Chief Dan Hause said the recent pet shot clinic was a successful event.

Dr. R. Scott Rushing of Lampasas administered vaccinations to more than 319 dogs and cats -- more than double the amount vaccinated at a previous clinic.

The clinic was a public service to the community, said Hause, and the Fire Department did not receive any funds from the event.
