Intoxication assault charges result in jail term Judge Joe Carroll, in recent 27th District Court action, sentenced Daniel Ryan Anderson to two 17- year terms in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Institutional Division, to run concurrently for two counts of intoxication assault. The 24-year-old was credited with jail time served. In another case, Rolando Gonzalez, 33, was given five years in the Texas Department of Corrections for sexual assault of a child under 17. He was given credit for time served in jail. Five years' deferred adjudication probation was given to Ted Paul Horn, 70, for aggravated assault causing bodily injury with a deadly weapon. Horn also must pay a $1,000 fine and court costs. Jeremy Mathurin, 22, of Austin received four years' deferred adjudication probation for criminal attempt. He also was ordered to take an anger management class and counseling, and must pay a $500 fine and court costs. An adjudication hearing is slated today for Leona Ruth Garner, 24, for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver with a deadly weapon. The judge set her bond at $150,000. Phillip Edward Ramirez, 29, of Lampasas is set for arraignment today for driving while intoxicated and felony repetition. Also to be arraigned today is Waco resident Cheri Downing Spencer, 40, for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine. April 18 arraignments are on the docket for Alicia Rae Lewis, 30, for endangering a child; Patricia Michelle Maynard, 33, of Marble Falls for possession of a chemical with intent to manufacture; Gerald Dee Brown, 42, of Kempner for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine; and Marvin Douglas Crutsinger, 42, of Lampasas for possession of a controlled substance, cocaine. William Smart Henry, 21, of Belton is set for trial before the court April 25 on a charge of burglary of a habitation. On a charge of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, 23-year-old Jamie Doreen Duncan is set to enter a plea May 23. A presentence investigation was ordered. David Lee Carroll, 44, of Marble Falls is expected to enter a plea June 27 for two counts of theft over $1,500 and under $20,000. A presentence investigation was ordered. The court plans to reschedule Rhonda Lanette Kolanek, 35, of Arlington for a review for possession of a controlled substance. |
