Election Day Today

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. today at the following locations:

-- Precincts 2, 3 and 4 will vote at First United Methodist Church at 12038 E. Hwy. 190 in Lampasas.

-- Precincts 6, 7 and 9 will vote at Lometa City Hall at 109 W. San Saba St.

-- Precincts 1, 5, 8 and 10 will vote at Kempner Fire Department Training Center at 315 S. Pecan in Kempner.

What's on the local ballot: Democratic runoff election for railroad commissioner, which pits Lampasan Dale Henry against Mark Thompson of Hamilton.

Early voting ended Friday, with 39 ballots being cast.
