Eva Akins

Eva Judith Akins, 53, of Gonzales died April 3, 2008, at Texan Rehab in Gonzales.

Graveside services were April 7 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas with Clint Lowrey of Gonzales officiating.

Mrs. Akins was born Sept. 24, 1954, in Lampasas, the daughter of Jack R. and Rosie Ford King.

She had worked in health care and was a homemaker. She was married to Frank Akins Sr.

Survivors include her husband of Gonzales; one son, Frank Akins Jr., of Nixon; brothers, Frank King, of Lampasas, and Dean King, of Richland Springs; a sister, Carol Kusy, and husband, Doug, of Lampasas; her mother-in-law, Dorothy Gossett; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family requested memorials be made to the charity of one's choice.
