SPORTS SHORTS The Burnet Bluebonnet Festival is scheduled for April 12, and a 5K run and bike tour are scheduled in conjunction with the event. The cost of the 5K is $25 on race day and $20 before race day. Race-day registration starts at 7 a.m. on the town square. The Burnet Kiwanis Bluebonnet Bike Tour, which is broken into race lengths of 13, 28, 38 or 50 miles, costs $35 on race day and $30 before race day. Both races are scheduled to start at 9 a.m. To register early for either event, call 756-6640. |
