The Lampasas High School baseball team fell to 1-6 in District 25- 4A with an 18-1, five-inning home loss at the hands of Dripping Springs on Tuesday.

The Badgers are scheduled to play host to Marble Falls at 7 p.m. today. They lost to the Mustangs, 6- 0, on the road on March 11.

The Badgers, who on the road have beaten Pflugerville Connally, 8-7, lost to district-leader Lake Travis, 3-2, and to second-place Vista Ridge, 2-0, fell to 0-3 at home in district play. They have been outscored 38-5 in those three games.

Dripping Springs starter Josh Urban was dominant until the third inning before LHS left fielder Seth Fry drove home the Badgers' run with a single to center.

Stetson Magilke started the game for the Badgers and was knocked out in the third inning after shaky defense prolonged his first two innings.

The Badgers committed nine errors in the game.

Remington Gillespie relieved Magilke and closed out the game.
