Aggie Muster scheduled
      Former students of Texas A&M will assemble in Lampasas April 21 for the annual Texas Aggie Muster to honor all Texas Aggies who have passed away within the last year, according to Muster chair Mike Mullican. Various Muster activities include a meal, speaker and candlelight roll call.

      Lampasas High School is offering summer school to allow students to catch up or work ahead. Space is limited. Registration is May 12-23 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the high school office. Late registration is June 2 from 8 to 11 a.m.

      TAKS tutorials for math and science are offered each Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30- 5:30 p.m. in the beta lab at Lampasas High School. Parents must provide transportation. TAKS test dates are April 29 and May 1 and May 2.

      Lampasas High School senior Heath Cofield has been selected as a 2008 recipient of the State Farm Texas Scholar Athlete program scholarship. Cofield is ranked first in his class of 248, and is a member of the Lampasas basketball and track teams.
