LHS, LMS track teams compete

The Lampasas High School varsity boys' track team finished fourth in its division at the San Angelo Relays, and the varsity girls' team finished eighth at the Burnet Meet.

On the boys' side, Aaron Reyna finished second in the 100 meters at 11.60 seconds, third in the long jump at 20 feet, five inches and ran on the 400 and 800 relays, which finished fifth and third, respectively. Clay Tyner finished second in the long jump at 6-2.

On the girls' side, Jennifer Howard won gold in the high jump with a personal-best leap of 5-4.
