LHS, LMS track teams compete
      The Lampasas High School varsity boys' track team finished fourth in its division at the San Angelo Relays, and the varsity girls' team finished eighth at the Burnet Meet. On the boys' side, Aaron Reyna finished second in the 100 meters at 11.

      Rio Grande spring turkey hunting season opens Saturday in the North Zone, which includes Lampasas and surrounding counties. The season runs through May 11. In the South Zone, the spring season opened last Saturday and will continue through April 27.
