Early voting under way for runoffs

Early voting for the primary runoff election for Democratic Texas railroad commissioner continues through Friday.

Early ballots may be cast at the county voter registrar's office, 412 S. Live Oak from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Candidates are Dale Henry of Lampasas and Mark Thompson of Hamilton.

Only those who voted in the Democratic primary may participate.

Voting Friday is from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the following sites:

Precincts 2, 3 and 4: First United Methodist Church in Lampasas.

Precincts 6, 7, 8 and 9: Lometa City Hall.

Precincts 1, 5, 9 and 10: Kempner Fire Department Training Center.
