Mrs. Jenkins

Ida Mae Jenkins, 98, of Lampasas died March 21, 2008, at Spring Oaks Nursing & Rehab.

Her body will be cremated. No service is planned.

Mrs. Jenkins was born Dec. 25, 1909, in San Saba, the daughter of Arthur and Sally Flemming Galloway.

She married William Jenkins, and they worked together on area ranches until his health required that they move to Lampasas.

Mrs. Jenkins was a member of Bethel AME Church in Lampasas.

She is survived by a cousin, Amanda Jackson, of San Saba.

She was preceded in death by her husband.
