Mr. Smith
      Cleo F. "Brownie" Smith died March 22, 2008. He was 87. Funeral services were March 25 at Briggs-Gamel-Wilcox Funeral Home in Lampasas. A graveside service followed at Oak Hill Cemetery. Mr. Smith was born July 16, 1920, in Adamsville, the son of George and Lottie Smith.

Mrs. Jenkins
      Ida Mae Jenkins, 98, of Lampasas died March 21, 2008, at Spring Oaks Nursing & Rehab. Her body will be cremated. No service is planned. Mrs. Jenkins was born Dec. 25, 1909, in San Saba, the daughter of Arthur and Sally Flemming Galloway.
