Mrs. Ferguson

Burnet resident Jessie Estis Ferguson died March 23, 2008, in Georgetown. She was 92.

Graveside services are March 25 at 2 p.m. at Burnet City Cemetery with Brother Rob Moore officiating.

Mrs. Ferguson was born Feb. 28, 1916, in Clyde, to Henry and Rosa Lee Castleberry Appleton.

She was a homemaker and a member of Grande St. Church of Christ in Bertram for many years.

Survivors include children, Floydell Pierce, and husband, Harp, of Oakalla, Judy Carlile, and husband, Jim, of Bertram, and Buddy Ferguson, and wife, Dodie, of Florence; grandsons, Gary Talley and Mike Ferguson, of Houston, James Pierce, of Lampasas, Torbett Pierce, of Temple, and Jase Carlile, of Bertram; granddaughters, Lori Jowers and Brooke Box, of Burnet; 12 greatgrandchildren; and two greatgreat grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Anderson Ferguson in 1979.
