District recognition
At the District 8 Texas Farm Bureau competition, Sara Jackson, left, earned District 8 Miss Farm Bureau honors, and Trevor McGuire took the District 8 Free Enterprise Speech Contest prize. Also, Christine Groves, membership chairman of the Lampasas County Farm Bureau, was presented the Farm Bureau Pioneer Award. She also was recognized at the state convention in December.
