Genealogy society to observe anniversary during seminar

Central Texas Genealogical Society will celebrate its 50th anniversary with an "Ask Our Panel of Experts" Monday at 7 p.m. in the meeting room on the lower level of the Waco/McLennan County Central Library, 1717 Austin Ave., Waco.

Peggy Duty will answer questions on queries; Betty Parker will clarify census and death records; Barbara Price will discuss the Daughters of the American Republic; and Bowman Price will connect with insight on computer research.

The public is invited. Meetings are the fourth Monday of each month.

Future programs include DNA with Max, April 28; and a 50thanniversary of the CTGS on May 10 with a reunion, looking back and looking at the future.
