Making progress
Construction equipment bustles at the new Lampasas High School site on U.S. Highway 281 South. Crews have been at work since last week clearing trees and moving dirt. After approval last year of a multi-million-dollar bond issue, the new ninth- through 12th-grade campus is expected to be ready for occupancy for the 2009-10 term.
