Battlin' Badger Relays today

The Lampasas High School boys' and girls' track teams will play host to the 2008 Batllin' Badger Relays today, starting with the field events at noon.

The Badgers and Lady Badgers started their seasons strong, claiming four team medals between them in the first three meets combined. The Lady Badgers won the Bangs Meet and Gatesville Relays, while the boys won the Bangs Meet and finished third at the Gatesville Relays.

Both teams will attempt to rebound from bottom-third finishes at last week's Fredericksburg Relays.

Boys' and girls' teams scheduled to compete in today's meet are LHS, Gatesville, Taylor, Troy, Liberty Hill, Florence, Marble Falls and Burnet.
