Church offers classes

The Twelve Steps, a Spiritual Journey Sunday School Class, begins April 13 at 10 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in Lampasas.

Learn about and work through the Twelve Steps from a Christian perspective using a workbook and discussion format. The class presents a biblically based way of healing damaged emotions emphasizing self-understanding and the unchanging love of God for all humanity.

Class will continue for 30 weeks. During the first three weeks, class will remain open to newcomers. After the April 27 class, no newcomers will be admitted to allow for trust and group unity to form.

After introductory classes, two weeks will be devoted to each of the 12 steps. Workbook material is completed between classes.

Cost for a workbook is $10. A nursery will be available for children 3 years and under. Toddler and children's Sunday School classes are available during the same time for those ages 4 and up.
