Senior center gets donation

Hill Country Community Action Association received $2,250 through volunteer efforts of associates from the Lampasas Wal-Mart. Funds will go to help the Meals on Wheels program and other senior citizen activities.

Funds were presented on behalf of store volunteers -- Patti Johnson and Darlene Ward -- who spend their lunch hours delivering meals to homebound seniors in Lampasas County.
