Strong Showing
Lampasas High School junior varsity pitcher Kaitlyn Gilseth throws a pitch against Belton on Thursday on the opening day of the LHS Junior Varsity Tournament. Gilseth helped lead the Lady Badgers to a thirdplace finish in the tournament. Belton fielded two teams, claiming first and second place. The Lady Badgers beat out Gatesville, Copperas Cove, Harker Heights and Killeen Shoemaker. The JV is scheduled to play a district game today at 5 p.m. against Marble Falls.
