State-bound Lady Badger
LHS junior Stephanie Smith qualified for the state powerlifting meet Saturday at Killeen. Smith, who finished seventh at the state meet last year, competed at the Region II Meet last Friday at Copperas Cove. She finished as the No. 1 seed out of the region in Class 4A at the 215-pound division.
