College honors

Texas Tech

Texas Tech University presented diplomas to students in fall 2007 commencement exercises.

Those from Lampasas earning degrees were Marshal L. Brewer, bachelor of science in civil engineering; Ashley L. Green, bachelor of arts in journalism; and Amanda Ruth Herridge, bachelor of arts in English.

From Kempner, Jason Tyler Crump earned a bachelor of music degree.

Tarleton State

Tarleton State University held fall commencement exercises at the campus.

Graduates include Adamsville resident James Shurtleff, who earned a bachelor of science degree in ag services and development.

Degrees went to Lampasas residents Dustin Jones, bachelor of science in exercise and sports studies, and Blake Myers, who earned a bachelor of science in animal science.
