Marker dedication
The historic Hancock Springs Hostess House received a Texas Historical Marker at a ceremony recently at the grounds. Lila Goodson, left, chairman of the marker committee for the Oran Milo Roberts Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas, and Charlene Nash, center, partially obscured, and Wilda Mullins, DRT marker committee members, unveil the new plaque on display on the building's lawn. The program drew a large crowd of visitors.
