Rangers cuff LHS in 25-4A opener

      After a feast-or-famine showing in the Big Bell Classic Tournament last weekend, the Lampasas High School softball team opened District 25-4A play with famine on Monday night in blustery conditions at Lady Badger Field.

      Lometa High School senior Taylor Bradley and junior Maria Jasso were selected to the District 29-1A, Division II All-District Basketball team. Bradley, who was also selected to serve as an alternate at a high school all-star game in Lubbock, was named to first team.
