Crime Stoppers seeks assistance The Lampasas County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's assistance to help solve a theft. According to Investigator David Thorp, the crime took place on County Road 4034 in Lampasas County between 10 p.m. Feb. 25 and Feb. 26 at 8:30 a.m. An unidentified person or persons entered the property and removed a trailer containing a Lincoln model 225 welder, Victor torch unit, Dewalt, Makita and Hilti power tools and an extensive amount of other tools and equipment. The trailer was found abandoned on CR 2200 on Feb. 27, said Thorp, however, all of the tools and equipment were gone. Anyone with information leading to an arrest of those responsible could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
