Lometa trustees to meet March 17

The Board of Trustees of the Lometa Independent School District will meet March 17 at 6:30 p.m. in the school library.

Agenda items include consideration of the school calendar for 2008-09, and discussion of a resolution combining the Lometa ISD Board of Trustees election with the city of Lometa election in May.

Reports will be offered by Superintendent David Rice and several campus principals.

Teacher contracts also are up for consideration by trustees.

Routine matters include approving minutes of previous meetings, monthly investments, budget amendments and monthly bills.
