Alma Stoneham

Alma Dawn Stoneham, 73, of Bertram died March 3, 2008, at Seton Highland Lakes Hospital in Burnet.

Funeral services were March 6 at First Baptist Church of Bertram with Pastor Gordon R. Bergstrom officiating. Burial was at Killeen City Cemetery.

Miss Stoneham was born Sept. 22, 1934, in Bell County, the daughter of Henry Bryan and Ruby Thornton Stoneham.

While living in Bertram she was a bowler in the Special Olympics. She also worked for MHMR and assisted others she lived with.

She is survived by a brother and his wife, Henry and Patsy Stoneham, of Lampasas; nephews, Trey Stoneham, and wife, Karen, and children, Tate and Blaire, of Lampasas, Tommy Stoneham, and daughter, Darby Jo, of Abilene, Tom Moseley, and daughter, Charlie Beth; and nieces, Molley Lepard, and husband, Brian, and children, Hayden and Will, and Amy Vann, and husband, Danny, and children, John Cole and Jenna, of Lampasas.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Docia Louise.
