Mrs. Lindsey

Annah Lindsey
Annah Mae Lindsey, 99, of Lampasas died March 1, 2008, at her residence.

Funeral services were March 3 at Sneed Funeral Chapel with Brother Thomas Edwards officiating. Burial followed at Smith Cemetery at Kempner.

Mrs. Lindsey was born July 15, 1908, in Bell County, the daughter of Thomas Jefferson and Eva Lee Hill Bell.

She married James Monroe Lindsey on Sept. 2, 1923, in Kempner.

Mrs. Lindsey was a homemaker and a member of Second Baptist Church in Lampasas.

Survivors include seven daughters, Joyce Havens, of Akron, Ohio, Margie Ray, and husband, George, Laverne Browning, and husband, Ben, of Austin, Nell Davis, of Fairfield, Doris Webb, and husband, George, of Menter, Ohio, Ann Green, of Cedar Park, and Joann Jackson, and husband, Sturgis, of Lake Victor; three sons, Albert Lindsey, and wife, Nancy, of Lampasas, Vernon Lindsey, and wife, Loretta, of Bend, and Kenneth Lindsey, and wife, Joyce, of Midlothian; 38 grandchildren; 87 great-grandchildren; 98 greatgreat grandchildren; and two greatgreat great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Gladys Mae Lindsey, and by a son, Jeff Thomas Lindsey.

The family requested memorials be made to Lampasas Baptist Church, U.S. Highway 190 East, Lampasas.
