LHS soccer teams fall

Stephenville swept the Lampasas High School soccer teams Tuesday night with the LHS boys falling 3-1 at home and the girls losing 2-0 on the road.

The LHS boys got off to a strong start when senior Sam Barbero controlled a distance pass from fellow senior Ross Weems and buried it in the net at the 17-minute mark, but Stephenville rallied for three unanswered goals.

The LHS girls are scheduled to play host to Killeen at 7:30 tonight, and the boys will play at Killeen Saturday at noon.
