DWI charge nets jail sentence Judge Joe Carroll sentenced Phillip Owen Jackson Jr., 26, to six years in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Institutional Division probated to six years for driving while intoxicated and felony repetition. Jackson also was given 10 days in the Lampasas County Jail, 200 hours of community service and must pay a fine. Action came in recent 27th District Court. Isreal Garcia, 32, was assessed three years in TDCJID for driving while intoxicated and felony repetition. Jeffrey Dwain Morgan, 25, had his probation revoked and was sentenced to one year in state jail for hindering a secured creditor. In a case of possession of a controlled substance against Buchanan Dam resident Pamela Rhea Harbin, 36, the judge revoked her adjudication probation and sentenced Ms. Harbin to five years' probation and ordered her to complete an inpatient drug treatment program. Mark Evan Lancaster, 47, of Lampasas received 12 months in state jail for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. A charge of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine was punished as a misdemeanor, and his jail sentence will run concurrently for both charges. Killeen resident Thayne Lee Bright had a charge of driving while intoxicated with a child passenger reduced to a Class A misdemeanor. He received two years' deferred adjudication probation, a $2,000 fine and 50 hours of community service. Bright also must pay court costs. Clay Cory Havins, 41, faces a pretrial hearing today for driving while intoxicated and felony repetition. The March 14 docket includes a hearing for Steven Eugene Daulton, 48, for forgery; and pretrial hearings for Blas Gonzales, 38, for evading arrest with a vehicle; Michael Lane Henderson, 35, of Lampasas for driving while intoxicated and felony repetition; and Scott Schowalter, 38, of Lampasas for theft of a firearm. A review is set March 28 for Rhonda Lanette Kolanek, 35, of Arlington for possession of a controlled substance. Carroll agreed to a modification of the probation for Robert Allen McCullough, 39, charged with possession of a controlled substance. On April 18, the judge will hear pleas from Ali Hussein Ibrahim, 19, of Kempner for graffiti; and Nicholas Darrell Harvin, 27, for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine. Presentence investigations were ordered for both. A pretrial hearing is scheduled April 25 for Shawn Christopher Holland, 30, for hindering a secured creditor. On a charge of sexual assault of a child, jury trial is slated April 28 for Scott Anthony Gunn, 36. June 9 jury trials are set for Jana Terese Hernandez, 30, of Lampasas on two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver; and for Elisha Ann Nelson, 21, of Marble Falls for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine. |
