McBride music available in new digital release

Dale McBride
GMV Nashville, a division of the marketing company AristoWorks, has announced the digital release of albums by the late Dale McBride of Lampasas. The Country & Western recording artist, gospel singer and songwriter died in December 1992.

His work, plus the releases of Don King, Terri Hollowell and Lori Parker will be available through a network of online outlets that include iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, Napster, Music Net, e- Music and Sony Connect.

The material, originally released in the late 1970s, includes several nationally charted singles from that time period.

McBride was a fixture on the Texas music scene in the '70s. His single "Ordinary Man" shot onto the national charts and was followed quickly by such memorable songs as "Savin' Up Sunshine" and "Always Lovin' Her Man."

Albums released include The Dale McBride Collection; Dale McBride's Takin' A Long Look; The Don King Collection, Vol. 1 & 2; Don King's Thanks To You; The Terri Hollowell Collection; Terri Hollowell's Stay With Me and Lori Parker's Just Steppin' Out.

All albums were produced and arranged by Bill Walker, known for his role as musical director of the Johnny Cash television show from 1969-71, the Statler Brothers show on TNN and the CMA Awards from the '70s through the early '90s.

In conjunction with the release of these albums, gmvnashville.com has been established to provide artist biographies, album information and track listings.
