Schade Tree to entertain on March 7 Acoustic guitars, banjo, mandolin and fiddle are the instruments of choice for members of the Schade Tree Band who will perform March 7 from 5:30-7 p.m. on the bandstand on Courtyard Square. The Belton-based folk-bluegrass band has been playing together for the past four years, mostly for friends and family events, but sometimes at local restaurants and festivals. John Schade is the band leader and lead vocals, while Gloria Holle plays the fiddle, guitar and mandolin and sings. Will Patton plays electric bass, harmonica and sings. And Hershall Seals accompanies on guitar and vocals. Three-part harmony is one of the band's specialties. The public is invited to attend the free event. Bring a lawn chair. ![]() |
