Academy Day on tap Sunday

Service Academy Day for service as an officer in the U.S. Armed Forces will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the USAA Auditorium, 9800 Fredericksburg Rd., San Antonio.

The session is for students, parents, counselors and educators. Service academy and ROTC representatives will be in attendance to answer questions about the nominating process for the following congressional offices: Senate: Hutchison and Cornyn. House: Smith, District 21; Gonzalez, District 20; Rodriguez, District 23; Cuellar, District 28; and Conaway, Diistrict 11, which encompasses Lampasas.
