Sculptors sought to exhibit work Sculptors of large outdoor works are sought to exhibit their art at the Hanna Springs Sculpture Garden for Art in the Park. Three jurors, prominent in the arts, will choose five sculptors to exhibit work for one year at the Lampasas park. Each sculptor will receive a $1,000 award upon completion of installation April 26. Work must remain in the park for one year. The park's proximity to historic downtown Lampasas provides the opportunity for many residents, schoolchildren and outof town visitors to visit the sculpture garden and experience art. This year's theme, wildlife, encompasses broad interpretations related to animal, vegetable or mineral. Art in the Park is sponsored by Lampasas Association For the Arts. Entry deadline is April 4. Applications are available at www.juriedartservices.com. Information about LAFTA can be found at www.lafta.org. ![]() |
