Lady Badgers finish 9th at home tournament
      The Lampasas High School girls' golf team finished ninth out of 21 teams during the Lampasas Girls Tournament at Hancock Park Golf Course on Thursday. Marble Falls won the tournament with a team-stroke total of 370. San Saba finished second at 378, and Llano placed third at 399.

LHS softball wins 3 of 4 at Gatesville
      After opening the regular season with a loss at Leander last week, the Lampasas High School softball team rebounded in a big way, winning 3 of 4 games at the Gatesville Tournament on Friday. Saturday's action was canceled because of rain, so final tournament standings were not tabulated.
