GOP sets dinner, candidates' visit

Republicans are invited to attend the Feb. 26 meeting of Burnet County Republican Club at the Burnet Community Center. Social hour begins at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m. A catered barbecue brisket dinner with all the trimmings is $15 per person.

Candidates running in the March primary for various local and state offices will be given time for a short presentation on their platform and ideas. They also will be present before and after the meeting to visit with constituents.
