Religious poetry contest on tap

A $1,000 grand prize is being offered in a special religious poetry contest sponsored by the Sacramento Rainbow Poets, free to everyone. Fifty prizes, totaling almost $5,000, will be given away. Entry deadline is March 10.

To enter, send one poem of 21 lines or less to Free Poetry Contest, 2935 Clay St., Sacramento, Calif., 95815, or enter at www.rainbow poets.com.

Be sure entrant's name and address appear on the page with the poem. A winner's list will be sent to those who include a return envelope.
