Early voting to start
      Early voting for the March 4 Republican and Democratic primaries begins Tuesday and runs through Feb. 29. Ballots may be cast between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the office of the elections administrator, 412 S. Live Oak. On March 4, voting will be conducted from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Open meeting
      Preservation Lampasas Inc. will hold a public meeting regarding restoration of the historic Lampasas Colored School. The meeting is Monday at 6:30 p.m. at Lampasas City Council Chambers, 407 S. Main St., behind the Police Department.

Project Grad
      Project Graduation will have a catfish dinner and auction Saturday at AMVETS Post 80. The meal will be served at 5:30 p.m., followed by the live auction at 7 p.m. A number of silent auctions also will be held. Tickets are $15 per person or $25 per couple.
