Director elections to be held in May

The Central Texas Groundwater Conservation District will hold elections for directors May 10. Director precincts scheduled for election include:

Director Precinct No. 1: the area within the district and within Burnet Commissioner County Precinct 1. Patrick Quinlan is the director.

Director Precinct No. 3: the area within the district and within Burnet County Commissioner Precinct 3. Todd Fox is director.

At-large director position: all of Burnet County. John Simmons is director.

Deadline for filing as a candidate is March 10 at 5 p.m. Write-in candidates have until March 17 at 5 p.m. To file and have one's name placed on the ballot, contact the district office prior to March 10.
